I just love the food at Home Team, and although I have done "to go", today is the first time since before Covid that I sat down in the restaurant had hung out for a while. The food is great- I had the Home Team Salad with smoked turkey and dressing on the side, with a Perni-haze can-o-beer- delish. I could have this every day. I also love the atmosphere- sort of cozy cheers vibe with a sweet twinkly light patio- high tables with comfy backed bar stools- great beer and cocktail selection (huge list of "brown waters"). Can't wait to come back!

Brought a networking friend here for lunch and we had a great meal. Don't sleep on the tater tots appetizer. I could put that harissa mayo on just about anything! Delicious. I also had their chopped brisket taco. There was plenty of brisket and a fresh chimichurri plus carrot/jalapeno salsa. Every bite pops with great flavors. The West Ashley location has a nice amount of parking and offers outdoor seating in a patio area. There is a nice big bar too. First time here! Ton of tvs to watch football and overall fun vibes. It definitely gets rowdy for games! Service was quick, got my food within 10 min of ordering. I loved the tater tots a lot! The brisket was okay! The hash was my personal favorite thing I had. Mac and cheese was not for me, it had an interesting taste to it. Im used to more of a baked Mac. Fun spot!

Came here with my family with the recommendation from my sister. We had a party of 9, including two toddlers and a vegetarian. We ordered the Board platter and added additional cuts. Our sides were mac and cheese, collard greens, and brunswick stew. Got some tater tots and the home team salad. My mother loved this salad so much because the dressing was so good. The dressing is the smoked poblano vinergrette. Shes was satisfied. The bbq was delicious and the collard greens was the best I've ever had. It was way too good! We were all satisfied! He service was great and we would come back again.

I love home team bbq in West ashley! The servers are always amazing and sweet. I usually come by with a large group of friends(8+ people), and they always accommodate us. We are usually there pretty late, and they never complain. There are tvs, but there are no sounds coming from the TV, so you won't necessarily hear the games playing, but on the plus side, you can hear your friends talking to you instead. They provide sauces, but I usually just eat my meals without the sauce they provide. My latest order was the fried ribs with Alabama sauce, and it was great. It wasn't fall off the bone quality, but it still had a great taste.

This place is really cool, it's a very large space, with a pretty awesome outdoor area. It definitely attracts a younger crowd and seems like a great place to meet other people. I somewhat enjoyed my meal. I got the chopped brisket with mac n cheese and cucumber and tomato salad. The Mac n cheese and salad were pretty good but I had an issue with the chopped brisket. Although I believe it was tasty, it had WAY too much salt, it was hard to eat at some point because it tasted like I was eating straight salt at on point. We had a wonderful waitress who was very kind and the service overall was great. Other than my overly salty meat, I liked the place and would return, with possibly a different choice of food.

We tried the brisket taco and two meat combo. I asked for lean brisket and received it. Tender and tasty. Hubby enjoyed pork and brisket and very tasty. The restaurant was busy but clean. The food was tasty and sides good. Go with confidence.

YUM. This was my first introduction to southern bbq and this place did not disappoint. We split an order of their smoked chicken wings. WOW. And the white sauce it comes with, wow. So flavorful. New fav chicken wings. Now I was already kind of full, so I just got a slider. But it was delicious. Don't forget the sauces they have on the table. Not gunna lie I tried all of them. The classic red sauce and mustard were my favorite. Got a side of the mac and cheese and delicious. Their banana pudding. YUM. If you come to SC and don't get banana pudding you're missing out, and home teams is a good place to start. Vibe is also great inside. Even the bathroom was decorated with cool prints on the walls. I am a new lover of southern bbq and I love home team.

Home Team is a Charleston staple with locations just about everywhere. This modern bbq spot in West Ashley is perfect for those heading back home to Savannah like myself... Went with the Brisket Chili Dog & it was a 10/10 - for an added bonus get the fried Mac & Cheese Servers were very efficient & the wait was minimal on a crowded Saturday afternoon - arrive before 5PM as it was slammed around that time
